Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. After that, she performed in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage alongside Li'l Abner in. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. While an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next notable role she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three and she continued to live there throughout growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
