Born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June 28, 1986 Pickler had a troublesome childhood. The mother she had left at the age of two to escape from the abuse of her partner. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 into her life, and she took the full custody. The situation did not go very well. Pickler went back to her grandparents when she turned twelve years old. They helped the girl into adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. Pickler admitted that she no longer had time to study and started learning how to be a homemaker from a very young age. Pickler participated in the cheerleading squads of both her high school as well as middle school. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in 2004. Pickler has also been a contestant for a beauty pageant. The title was Miss Stanly Country.
