Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is American Canadian singer and songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. Her music is classified as folk rock and alternative rock but also has influences from punk funk hip hop and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement. She was one of the first artists to create her own record label in 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who was introduced to Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother hails from Montreal. 32 Flavors was a track recorded and performed by Ani DiFranco.
