Lisa Olivia Munn is a born and raised in Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam as well, and she has Chinese origin, and her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots in the American South. The couple split when she was only 2 years old. Her mother raised her along with her stepfather, who is an United States Air Force officer. Olivia was primarily raised within Tokyo and Japan. While her family had moved from Oklahoma and to numerous other areas, it was it in Tokyo where she got the majority of her education. During this time she performed in a number of local theater productions, and then became a model in the Japanese fashion business. Olivia relocated in Los Angeles after the family's relocation to this part of the United States. She pursued the dream of becoming an actor. Through a string of small performances, Olivia achieved success after she was cast as Mily Acua on the Hawaii filming of the TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider. She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". She loves surfing and has been practicing it ever since the television program Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo. In the year 2000, as she was two years old of age, her mother was married again. The family has moved many times but she spent most of her childhood in Tokyo Japan since that was the location where her father was stationed. She completed her journalism studies in the University of Oklahoma and also studied Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and acting.
